You have been seated in a great little restaurant in a quaint little village in Germany. What you will be handed is a menu with no pictures. In the 12 years I have lived in Germany I can count on one hand the number of menus with pictures that I have held in my hands. One was the Hooters in Frankfurt!
Here is the safe order. Schnitzel and pommes! This meal is a German staple and it can vary from region to region but the results are always the same. Perfection! This is a pounded piece of pork that is breaded and fried. It is usually served with pommes (fries) or potato salad. This is a dish that will never disappoint!
